Blacksburg -- Donna Patrice Yelton, 59, of 143 Old Chester Road, passed away Sunday, May 19th, 2013, at her residence. Born in Blacksburg, Ms. Yelton was the daughter of Billy Don Yelton, Sr. and Lois B. Yelton of Blacksburg. She worked as a home health nurse, was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, and loved serving others. In addition to her parents, Ms. Yelton is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Randi Marie and Cameron W. Thomas, of Greenville; two brothers, Billy Don Yelton, Jr. and Stuart Campbell Yelton and wife, Ann Marie, all of Blacksburg; a sister, Vickie Yelton Hodge, of Blacksburg; and a granddaughter, Audrey Clare Thomas. Ms. Yelton was preceded in death by a sister, Belinda Griswold. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23rd, at 1:00pm at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Bolin officiating. The family will be at the residence.
