Blacksburg -- Dorothy O'Neal Walser, 67, of 134 McKee Drive, passed away August 31st, 2010 at Peachtree Centre. Born in Rockingham, NC, Mrs. Walser was the wife of Urban Walser of the home and the daughter of the late Frank and Sadie Jordan O'Neal Clewis. Mrs. Walser worked as a homemaker, but volunteered at Blacksburg Middle School, and attended First Baptist Church of Blacksburg. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Walser is survived by a daughter, Debbie Sprouse and husband, Harold Sprouse Jr., of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Nicholas Sprouse of Blacksburg and Haley Sprouse of Gaffney; and a brother, Joel O'Neal and wife, Sheron, of Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3rd, at 3:00pm at First Baptist Church of Blacksburg. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
