Gaffney -- Elizabeth Eloise Turner Lefevers, 77, of 1434 North Limestone Street, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 27th, 2017, at Peachtree Centre. She was born on March 19, 1940 in Gaffney, SC. She was predeceased by her husband, Bryant James Lefevers, and was the daughter of the late Dewey Turner and Margaret Gladden Turner. Mrs. Lefevers retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith. Earlier in life, she enjoyed fishing and gardening. Later on, Ms. Elizabeth enjoyed bingo and learning new crafts. Mrs. Lefevers is survived by two sons, Robert James Lefevers of Shelby, NC and Phillip Howard Lefevers of Polkville, NC; one daughter, June Lefevers Tate of Inman, SC; two brothers, Dewey Turner Jr., of Fallston and John Edward Turner of Shelby, NC; four sisters, Katherine Ward of Gaffney, Nancy Smith of Shelby, Judy Hamby of Cowpens, and Betty Jean Weaver of Grover; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Howard Turner, and her sisters, Lucille Turner Earney and Annie Ree Turner Robbins. Private services will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Peachtree Assisted Living Centre and Compassus Hospice of Gaffney, SC for the care and love that was given to their mother during her time there. Please know she loved you all very much. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a small donation to your favorite charity. The family will be at their individual residences.
