Blacksburg -- Elizabeth Ann "Lib" Peterson, 70, of 409 Upper Deal St, passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2017, at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Margie Peterson Crowe and Charles Crowe, Jr. Mrs. Peterson worked in textiles and was a member of McKowns Mountain Baptist Church. She loved her flowers, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ms. Peterson is survived by one son, Larry Bruce Mullinax and wife, Lisa, of Gaffney; one daughter, Tammy Denise Mullinax of Gaffney; one brother, Donnie Crowe and wife, Tammy, of Gaffney; three sisters, Linda Emery, Brenda Deaton, and Cathy Owensby, all of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Erika Arledge, Summer Williams, and April Moss; six great-grandchildren, Josh Williams, Jordon Williams, Hannah Williams, Danny Beck Jr., Lane Hammett, and Dillon Hammett; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16th, 2017, from 1:00- 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gregg Martin and Rev. Tim Knotts officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery. Joshua Williams, Floy Ramsey, Raymond Crawford, Dennis Turner, Barry Humphries, and Justin Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
