Ella Love

Blacksburg -- Ella Jay Love, 89, of 234 Possum Trot Road, passed away Wednesday, July 10th, 2013, at her residence. Born in Blacksburg, Mrs. Love was the widow of Marvin Love and the daughter of the late Elisha Forest and Mary Bell McSwain. She retired from textiles and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was active in several church groups. Mrs. Love is survived by two grandchildren, Daniel Love and wife, Anna, of Blacksburg and Cristy Ramsey and husband, Greg, of Shelby; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Love, of Blacksburg; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Love was preceded in death by two sons, Leroy and Forest Love. The family will receive friends Friday, July 12th, 2013, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 13th, at 11:00am at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harold Beam and Rev. Vernon Craig officiating.
