Blacksburg -- Elwonder Childers Mabry, 68, of 102 Boone Street, passed away Friday, January 8th, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the wife of Carroll Mabry and the daughter of the late Monroe Childers and Nora Lee Mullinax Penson. Mrs. Mabry retired from textiles and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mabry is survived by a son, Michael Carroll, of Cowpens, a brother, Roy Gene Mullinax, of York, and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 11th, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Eric Sellers and Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
