Gaffney -- Etta Mae Dixon, 83, of 1344 North Limestone Street, passed away Tuesday, October 28th, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of J.D. Dixon and the daughter of the late George and Macie Bolin Love. Dixon retired from Hoechst Celanese and was a member of Baptist faith. Surviving Mrs. Dixon is one daughter, Marcia Cash and husband, Jeff, of Grover; two grandchildren, Michelle Greene and husband, Chad, of Gaffney and Ronnie Wilson and wife, Melissa; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Paul Love. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 31st, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joel Phillips officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
