Felicia Agner Blacksburg, South Carolina Obituary

Felicia Agner

Blacksburg, SC -- Mrs. Felicia Camp Agner, 77, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC. Felicia was born in Patterson Springs, NC, a daughter of the late Thomas Levelle Camp and Vertie Arrowood Camp. She was a faithful member of St. John United Methodist Church. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and daughter-in-law, she loved spending time with family (especially her grandchildren) and serving her church. A very creative person, with an artful eye for color and contrast, she enjoyed making floral arrangements, wreaths, and various outdoor flower planters and gardens. Both a trip to the mountains for a meal/shopping and a trip to the coast for fishing were also high on her list. Felicia was also a “people” person, never meeting a stranger and always willing to help someone in any way possible. For the past many years she was able to be such a person as an employee of the Lemmons family at Decorative Fabrics and Peaches & Cream. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Morrison, Sara Allen, Brenda Caldwell, and Mary Farless. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 45 years Jerry Agner; daughters Rosalyn Blanton (Jerry) of Ellenboro, NC and Debbie Poole of Grover, NC; son David Agner (Stacey) of Dacula, GA; grandchildren Joy Blanton Bowen, Joey Poole, Hunter Poole, Justin Agner, and Jadyn Agner; great-grandson Cody Bowen; sister Doris Mertz, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8, at Gordon Mortuary (Blacksburg, SC) from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Agner's funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at St. John United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Don Boshell and Rev. Laura Martin. Entombment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 703, Blacksburg, SC 29702. The family will be at the residence, 222 Dulin Road, Blacksburg. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com
