Blacksburg -- Flora Ann Hardin Moore, 76, of 102 Blue Bird Lane, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Regional Hospice Home. A native of Blacksburg, Mrs. Moore was the wife of the late George Franklin Moore and the daughter of the late Ernest Jasper and Luna Mae Allison Hardin. Mrs. Moore was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mrs. Moore is a daughter, Melinda Ann Moore Jarjoura and husband, Chris, of Blacksburg; a sister, Mary Frances Denton of Blacksburg; and three grandchildren, Josh Austin, Linda Marie Jarjoura, and Christina Louise Jarjoura. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by four sons, Jamison, Frankie, Ernest Keith, and Jamie Moore; six brothers, Marvin, DJ (Darvin), Ansel, E.J., Yates, and Ralph (Buddy) Hardin; and four sisters, Ola Mae Bishop, Margaret Catherine (Cackey) Cooper, and Sadie Louise Sanders. Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 11 at Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Cherokee County Unit, 154 Mile Stone Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
