Gail Elaine Moss

Kings Mountain -- Gail Elaine White Moss, 72, of 305 Fulton Drive, passed away Monday, September 7th, 2015, at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Cleveland County, she was the wife of Ken "Sonny" Moss and the daughter of the late Henry White and Ruth Bell White. Mrs. Moss retired as a nurses assistant and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Moss is survived by a daughter, Amanda Elaine Melvin and husband, Benny, of Blacksburg; a brother, Richard White and wife, Elaine, of Blacksburg; three sisters, Barbara Bush of Kings Mountain, Charlene Dover of Blacksburg, and Susan Greene of Shelby; and two grandchldren, Josh and Becca Melvin. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roy and Steven White; and a sister, Patsy White. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10th, 2015, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Sellers and Rev. Terry Floyd officiating. Interment will follow at Grover City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150. The family will be at the residence.
