Hannah Mathis Capps

Blacksburg -- Hannah Mathis Capps, 70, of 311 W Carolina St, passed away Saturday, March 27th, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gastonia, she was the widow of Michael Capps and the daughter of the late William and Wilda Eartzburger Haskett. Mrs. Capps worked for Danny's Cafe and loved riding motorcycles. She was was preceded in death by two sisters; Clide White and Helen Towery and one brother; William Hayes Haskett. Surviving Mrs. Capps are two daughters, Melissa McGinnis (Don) and Angela Little (Eddie); a brother, Haven Haskett (Mary); two sisters, Hilda Williams (Freddie) and Robin Hoffman (Walter); four grandchildren, Amanda Worley, Wesley Moore, Breanna Williams, and Kayla Williams; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com. The Blacksburg location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Capps family.
