Blacksburg -- Janie Sue Morgan, 85, 718 Dravo Road, Blacksburg, passed away Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at White Oak Manor of Spartanburg. Born in Shelby, Mrs. Morgan was the wife of 69 years of James Franklin Morgan of the home and the daughter of the late Cleatus Avery Clary and Macie Mae Blanton Clary. She worked as a spinner in the textile industry and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband, James Morgan; four sons, Jerry Morgan of Blacksburg, Lyn Morgan of Bessemer City, NC, John Morgan of Blacksburg, and Carl Morgan of Earl, NC; two daughters, Judy Olson and Jan Baucum of Blacksburg, SC; three sisters, Carolyn Pruitt and Frances Luckadoo of Shelby, NC and Geraldine Oliver of Kings Mountain, NC; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Morgan, four brothers, and two sisters. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10th, 2013 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00pm at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Goodman, Rev. Johnny Owens, and Rev. Billy Boone officiating.
