Blacksburg -- Jimmy Eugene Martin, 67, of 345 White Farm Road, Blacksburg, passed away Friday, October 12th, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, Mr. Martin was the husband of the late Louise Jackson Martin and the son of Mildred Peterson Martin of Blacksburg and the late Wilford Eugene Martin. He was the owner/operator of Ambassador Heating and Air Conditioning and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kings Mountain, NC. In addition to his mother, Mr. Martin is survived by one son, John Crawford Martin II and spouse Lorrie of Blacksburg; two daughters, Anita Celeste Spencer and spouse Ed of Blacksburg, and Michelle M. Lambert and spouse Mark of Gaffney; three brothers, Mike Martin of Blacksburg and Steve Martin and spouse Brenda of Blacksburg, and David Martin and spouse Gloria of Hickory Grove; two sisters, Linda Childers and Carol Martin of Blacksburg; one grandchild raised in the home Zac Martin; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Janine Martin, and one brother, Johnny Lee Martin. The family will receive friends Monday, October 15th, 2012 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at his residence. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 16th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Michael officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Blacksburg.
