Grover -- John Keith Carroll, 57, of 123 Ayers Road, passed away Friday, July 18th, 2014 at his residence. Born in Kings Mountain, he was the husband of Melba Carroll and the son of the late John Carroll and Mary Black Carroll. Mr. Carroll worked as a Cutting Torch operator and was a member of New Buffalo Baptist Church. Mr. Carroll is survived by one son, David Bush, of the home; one daughter, Ruby Justice, of Grover; three brothers, Ricky Dale Carroll and Marvin Carroll of Grover, and Richard Carroll of Patterson Springs; four sisters, Kathy Zuniga of Hendersonville, Debbie Carroll of Shelby, Kathy Blanton of Kings Mountain, and Angel Jackson of Grover; and four granddaughters, Brook, Harley, Laura, and Breonna Scronce of Grover and grandson Chris Scronce of Blacksburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Carroll. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21st, 2014 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Mr. Steve Fletcher and Rev. Adam Green officiating.
