Gaffney -- Johnny Lee Thomas, 47, of 115 First Street, passed away Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 at his home. Born in Gaffney, Mr. Thomas was the of the late Raymond Dean and Mary Elizabeth Ellis Thomas. He worked in roofing, loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Thomas is survived by three brothers, B.J. Thomas of Seattle, WA, Danny Thomas of Sarasota, FL, and Matthew Thomas of Gaffney, and a sister, Robin Thomas-Lovelace, of Gaffney. Memorial services for Mr. Thomas will be private. Memorials may be made to the Johnny Lee Thomas Funeral Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary, PO Box 428, Blacksburg, SC 29702 or at www.gordonmortuary.com/donate.html.
