Joyce Jones

Gaffney -- Joyce Ann White Jones, 71, of 123 Lester Drive, passed away Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Chesnee, Mrs. Jones was the wife of Dean Jones of the home and the daughter of the late Boyd William and Marie Maynor White. She retired as a supervisor in textiles and was a member of True Gospel Independent Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jones is survived by two daughters, Kathey McFalls of Gaffney and Sharon Lee Jones of Columbia; a brother, Buddy White, of Gaffney; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a son, Dean William Jones, Jr.; three brothers, Paul T. White, Billy White, and Buck White; and two sisters, Betty Taylor and Pat White. The family will receive friends anytime at the home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 29th, at 2:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. William Blanton and Rev. Harold Dean Painter officiating. Terry Brown, Gerry Brown, Frankie Brown, Jerry Lee Brown Jr., Krista Bonnette, and Brantley Bonnette will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the residence.
