Gaffney -- Keith "Mitchell" Phillips, 47, of 809 9th Street, passed away Tuesday, March 8th, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Belton Phillips and the late Brenda Wright Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a member of Gloryland Baptist Church in Smyrna. In addition to his father, Mr. Phillips is survived by an uncle, Buford Phillips; two aunts, Betty Spencer and Carolyn Spencer and husband, Freddie; and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10th, 2016, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Gloryland Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Gilfillan, Rev. Gregg Martin, and Rev. Bobby Bolin officiating.
