Landrum Robbins

Blacksburg, SC -- Landrum Junior "Junebug" Robbins, 78, of 190 Wilderness Trail, passed away Monday, June 29th, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Laura Robbins and the son of the late Landrum Robbins and Ethel Biggerstaff Robbins. Mr. Robbins retired from General Motors and was a member of Community of Christ. In addition to his wife, Mr. Robbins is survived by two sons, Mark Robbins of the home and Matthew Robbins of Rock Hill; two daughters, Rhonda Smithingell and husband, Keith, of Blacksburg and Mary Mogg and husband, Steve, of Bancroft, MI; two sisters, Lorene Blackman of Bancroft, MI and Hazel McMahan and husband, Wesley, of York; seven grandchildren, Ryan Lee Breese, Jason Kyle Robbins, Justin Smithingell, Nicholas Mogg, Sabrina Mogg, Victoria Mogg, and Austin Robbins; one great-granddaughter, Destanie Robbins; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by one brother, William Robbins, and two sisters Lonnie Mae Robbins and Vergie Breakfield. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3rd, 2015, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Billy Lingerfelt officiating. The family will be at the home of Rhonda Smithingell, 119 Whisonant Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com.
