Lee Gunn

Chester -- Lee Edward Gunn, 71, of 110 Parris Court, Chester, SC, passed away Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at Chester Regional Medical Center. Born in Blacksburg, Mr. Gunn was the husband of Evelyn Sutton Gunn of the home and the son of the late Lee Gunn and Lona Mae Upchurch Martin Gunn. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church in Blacksburg. Mr. Gunn is survived by his wife; two sons, Lee Edward Gunn, Jr. and Eddie Sutton, both of Gaffney; six daughters, Sandra Gilliam, Sheila Gunn, Patricia Gail Huskey, all of Gaffney, Tammy Clary of Boiling Springs, NC, Lynn Sutton Earls of McConnells, Jerri Sutton of Chester; three brothers, Olin Daniel Martin of Blacksburg, Roger Martin of Claremant, NC, and Dean Martin of Smyrna; three sisters, Margaret Rudder of Chester, Pamela Foster of Grover, NC, and Carolyn Martin of Hickory Grove; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Gunn; two brothers, Scottie Carrol Martin and Billy Martin; and two sisters, Shirley Ann Fester and Brenda Martin. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 29th, 2012 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30th, at 1:00pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Daniel Bran officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Ricky Huskey, Curtis Barker, Josey Larkin, Josh Larkin, Mike Owens, Steve Cavney, and Roger Martin will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at their respective residences.
