Letha Sheppard

Blacksburg -- Letha Caveny Sheppard, 81, of 250 Caveny Rd., passed away Sunday, December 4th, 2016, at Carolinas Healthcare System - Cleveland. Born in Kings Mountain, she was the wife of Harrill Rush Sheppard and the daughter of the late John and Nora Spurling Caveny. Mrs. Sheppard retired as a house cleaner and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sheppard is survived by two sons, Craig Sheppard and wife, Lynn, of Boiling Springs, SC and Chris Sheppard and wife, Wanda, of Blacksburg; one daughter, Beth Self and husband, Kenny, of Blacksburg; one brother, Marvin Caveny and wife, Shirley, of Kings Mountain; five grandchildren, Whitney and Austin Palmer, Sara and Alison Self, and Rebekka and Maura Sheppard; and one great-granddaughter, Paislee Beasley. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Harold Beam officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 839 Antioch Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
