Kings Mountain -- Faye Upchurch Biddix Bell, 74, of 617 Marys Grove Church Road, passed away Saturday, April 21st, 2018, at her home. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of 35 years to Isaac Bell and the daughter of the late Judson and Grace McAbee Upchurch. Mrs. Bell retired as a caregiver and was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered by her friends and family as a great woman with a huge heart of gold. In addition to her husband, left behind to cherish her memory are five daughters, Donna Putnam (Scott), Regina Hoyle (Bryan), Teresa Biddix (Toney), Debbie Slawter (Brad), and Lisa Adkins (James); three sons, James Stadler, Darrell Stadler (Jessica), and Austin Bell (Brandy); twenty-three grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lula Mae Wilson, Elsie Mullinax, and Shirley Upchurch; three brothers, Jack Upchurch, J.D. Upchurch, and Eugene Upchurch; two grandchildren, Leslie Arcade Adkins and Alisa Danielle Adkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26th, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Clayton Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the McKown's Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Chris Biddix, Josh Biddix, James Adkins, Cody Biddix, Jeff Upchurch, and Tim Singleton will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chance Burns and Aryian Alston. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Height Dr, Shelby, NC 28150. The family will be at the residence.
