Louise Thompson

Blacksburg -- Louise Hulon Thompson, 91, of 617 Leagon Drive, but formerly of Rock Hill, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Dillon, SC, Mrs. Thompson was the wife of the late Otis Thompson and the daughter of the late James Boyd and Martha Gardner Hulon. She was retired from Star Paper Tube Company and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mrs. Thompson are two sons, James (Jim) Thompson and wife, Shirley, of Blacksburg and Jerry Thompson and wife, Elizabeth (Libby), of Darlington, SC; two brothers, Sherwood and Lutrell Hulon, both of Fayetteville, NC; and two grandchildren, Kaley Thompson of Blacksburg and Amanda Thompson of Darlington. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 until 9 at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 7, 2009, at 3 at Grand View Memorial Park in Rock Hill, with Rev. Joseph Clayton officiating. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to C.K.C. Fire Department, 984 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
