Lula Henderson

Gaffney -- Lula Mae Henderson, 74, of 308 Springwood Drive, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Henderson was the wife of the late James Clark Henderson. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of New Harvest Church of God. Surviving Mrs. Henderson are two sons, Pat Henderson of Gaffney and Ray Henderson of Spartanburg; a daughter, Margaret Pennington of the home; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Gladys Lackey of Lincolnton, NC. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael O. Henderson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 PM Tuesday evening at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at 11 AM at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery in Forest City, NC, with Rev. Robert Wells officiating. Billy White, Gary White, Chance White, Robbie Turner, Michael Pennington, Matthew Foss, and Chris Byars will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the residence.
