Blacksburg--Mrs. Martha Dale Shipman, 67 of Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her residence. Born in Kings Mountain, she was the wife of Boyd Shipman and daughter of the late Frank and Rosa Sprouse. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin and Arthur Sprouse. Mrs. Shipman was a member of Midview Baptist Church and previously managed her own business. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons; Casey, Tracey, and Boyd Shipman; one daughter, Sundee Wallace. a brother, Danny Sprouse, a sister, Ann Hoffman, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The family will be at their respective homes. No services are scheduled at this time.
