Mary Mullinax

Blacksburg -- Mary Elaine Allison Mullinax, 73, of 703 Seven Springs Road, passed away Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at her residence. Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Mullinax was the daughter of the late Coley Woodrow and Nettie Mae Inez Maynor Allison. She was a retired security guard and was a member of Cherokee Falls Baptist Church. Mrs. Mullinax is survived by four sons, Darrell H. Sarratt Jr. of Earl, NC, Michael F. Sarratt, Jonathon Keith Sarratt, and Jerry Daniel Allison, all of Blacksburg; a daughter, Sharon Sarratt Morris of Spartanburg; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Ramsey of Blacksburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Bright. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 1pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tim Knotts officiating. Entombment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Jonathan Sarratt, Nolan Sarratt, Christopher Spencer, Quinton Smiley, Reggie Bolton, and Jimmy Bolton will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the residence.
