Naomi Gordon

Gaffney -- Naomi Holmes Gordon, 88, formerly of 155 Den Hill Drive, passed away Sunday, July 14th, 2013, at Magnolias of Gaffney. Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Gordon was the widow of Hershel Gordon and the daughter of the late Ben and Mollie Pierce Gordon. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church. Mrs. Gordon is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Price and husband, Larry, of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Claudia Duckett and husband, Richard, Ray Price, David Price and wife, Bobbie Sue, and Beth Annas and husband, Tracy; and seven great-grandchildren, Dillon Price, Megan Price, Austin Duckett, Shelby Duckett, Alan Annas, Victoria Annas, and Matthew Annas. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by a son, Ben William Gordon, and four brothers, Arthur, Charles, Susie, and James Albert Holmes. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16th, 2013, from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Draytonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2:00pm in the Draytonville Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Jackson and Rev. Tim Nugent officiating. Ray Price, David Price, Dillon Price, Richard Duckett, Austin Duckett, Tracy Annas, and Alan Annas will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the East Gaffney Baptist Church Building Fund, 2308 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, SC 29340. The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Magnolias of Gaffney for all of their help. The family will be at Elizabeth Price's residence, 147 Den Hill Trail, Gaffney. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com.
