Blacksburg -- Noah Blaze Martin, 13, of 160 Hambright Trail, passed away Friday, September 2nd, 2011, at his residence. Born in Gaffney, Mr. Martin was the son of Aeriel Martin Henry of the home and Jonathan Michael Carlton of Blacksburg. Mr. Martin was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church. Mr. Martin is survived by his parents; his step-father, Robert Henry; four sisters, Meredith Carlton of York, McKenzie Carlton, Jayde Jones, and Anna Hawkins, all of Blacksburg; a step-sister, Amber Henry, of Gaffney; maternal grandparents, Mark and Angela Martin, of Blacksburg; paternal grandparents, Mike and Terry Carlton of Blacksburg and Donna McDaniel of Smyrna; maternal great-grandparents, Jimmy and Lucy Fowler of Gaffney and Charles and Priscilla Perry of Ft. Meade, FL; paternal great-grandmothers, Evelyn Carlton and Nell Martin, both of Blacksburg and Joane Martin of Smyrna; two uncles, Eric Martin and Jeremy Bedford; and three aunts, Amanda Oglesby, Erica Martin, and Julia Deal. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4th, 2011, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Nazareth Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00pm with Rev. Jamie Billings officiating.
