Norma Nance

Gaffney -- Norma Wilson Nance, 73, of 139 Eastview Drive, passed away Wednesday, December 10th, 2014, at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Claude Dean Nance and the daughter of the late George Wilson and Bertie Brown Wilson. Mrs. Nance was a homemaker and was a member of Christian Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Nance is survived by one son, Loyd Nance and Renee' of Gaffney; one daughter, Pamela Walker and husband, Rev. Frank Walker of Chesnee; one brother, Bobby Dean Wilson of Gaffney; one sister, Beatrice Jones and husband, Walter, of Chesnee; three grandchildren, Makaylia, Aleighsha, Alayna Nance; and special niece, Wanda (Pokey) Upchurch. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jean Nance; brothers Bill, Steve, Stanley, and Leroy Wilson; and her sister, Helen Upchurch. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12th, 2014, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joe Sparks officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. The family will be at their respective homes.
