Blacksburg -- Olivia Sutton Broome, 69, of 203 Bolton Parker Road, passed away Tuesday, December 31st, 2013, at Peachtree Centre. Born in Blacksburg, she was the wife of Kenneth Aaron Broome of the home and the daughter of the late Arthur Sutton Jr. and Dorothy Lee Palmer Sutton. She retired from textiles and was a member of Blacksburg Church of God. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Broome is survived by a daughter, Rebekah Broome Camp, of Blacksburg; a sister, Wanda Martin, of Blacksburg; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Bryson Camp, both of Blacksburg. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2nd, 2014, from 7:00 pm -9:00 pm at the Blacksburg Church of God. Funeral services will he held Friday, January 3rd, at 1:00 pm at Blacksburg Church of God with Rev. James Clark and Rev. Curley Lanier officiating. Interment will follow at Moss Cemetery. Tim Clark, Dennis Clark, James Mullinax, Anthony Lanier, Cecil Bell, and Bix Bechtler will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the residence.
