Greer -- Mr. Patrick Reid Estes, 54, formerly of Blacksburg, passed away on November 5, 2018 at Greer Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, LLC. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Ola Mae Earls Estes and the late William Amos "Buck" Estes. Patrick previously worked in construction as a finish carpenter and sheet rock installer and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his mother, Mr. Estes is survived by two sisters, Debbie Garrett and Nikki Hall, and a brother, Pete Estes. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Janet Allen. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 8th of November, 2018, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at noon in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hardin officiating. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Cherokee County, PO Box 2223, Gaffney, SC 29342. The family will be at their respective homes.
