Patty Wylie

Blacksburg -- Patty Jo Spake Wylie, 79, of 494 Dravo Road, passed away Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Shelby, she was the wife of George Wylie for 59 years and the daughter of the late Eugene McCraw and Mary Spake McCraw. Mrs. Wylie retired from textiles and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wylie is survived by three sons, Timothy Wylie, Mike Wylie and wife, Crystal, of Blacksburg, and Brian Wylie and wife, Ida, of Gaffney; one brother, Don Sisk of Hickory, NC; five sisters, Linda Mayfield of Gaffney, Diane Cooper of Hickory, NC, Peggy Griffin of Blacksburg, Frances Randall and Dixie Drewery, both of Shelby, NC; and seven grandchildren, Harley, Dana, Alyssa, Justin, Hunter, TJ, and Seth Wylie. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jimmy Sisk, Randy Sisk, Pete Spake, and Mike Spake, and one sister, Cindy Self. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6th, 2020, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 839 Antioch Road, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Jerry Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Tim Wylie, Brian Wylie, Mike Wylie, Hunter Wylie, Justin Wylie, TJ Wylie, Seth Wylie will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the residence. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com. The Blacksburg location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Wylie family.
