Enoree -- Peggy Elaine Moore Hawkins, 60, of 1396 Watson Road, passed away Friday, August 4th, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Tony Hawkins and the daughter of the late Grady and Louise White Moore. Mrs. Hawkins previously worked in textiles and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hawkins is survived by a son, Charles Lamar Hawkins, and two sisters, Ophelia Blackwood and Carolyn Messer. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Moore, and a sister, Effie Harris. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6th, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. The family will be at their respective homes. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com.
