Blacksburg -- Sayra Louise Casey Carroll, 85, of 330 Possum Trot Road, passed away Friday, December 27th, 2019, at White Oak Manor of Shelby.

Born in Georgia, she was the widow of Brenton Carroll and the daughter of the late Fred and Cora Casey. Mrs. Carroll formerly worked in textiles and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Carroll are three children, Dianne Greene and husband, Tim, of Shelby, Barry Carroll and wife, Betty Ann, of Buffalo, SC, and Brenda Wyte and husband, William, of Blacksburg; seven grandchildren Donnie Greene (Kelli), Amy Edwards (Chris), Matthew Carroll (Amanda), Mark Carroll (Erika), Kendra Bell (Blake), Bill Wyte (Bobbette), Jesse Wyte (April); seven great-grandchildren, Brenton Greene, Ethan Edwards, Will Greene, Kaitlyn Edwards, Lillian Bell, Abigail Bell, and Hannah Carroll.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Anthony.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30th, 2019, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church, 839 Antioch Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Vernon Craig officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Donnie Greene, Chris Edwards, Matthew Carroll, Mark Carroll, Blake Bell, Bill Wyte, Jesse Wyte, Brenton Greene, Will Greene, and Ethan Edwards will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a church of your choice.

The family will be at their respective homes.
