Gaffney -- Stephen Wilson, 56, of 520 6th Street, Gaffney, passed away Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, Mr. Wilson was the son of the late George Washington Wilson and the late Birtie Lou Brown Wilson. He worked in the textile industry and was of Baptist faith . Mr. Wilson is survived by one brother, Bobby Dean Wilson of Blacksburg, and two sisters, Beatrice Jones and Norma Nance of Gaffney. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Upchurch and three brothers, LeRoy Wilson, Billy Wilson, and Stanley Wilson. The family will receive friends Friday, November 11th, 2011 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12th, at 1:00pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Harold Dean Painter officiating. Interment will follow at Draytonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
