Hickory Grove -- Teresa Gaile Martin, 59, of 1952 Martin Road, passed away Tuesday, March 14th, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Grady Martin and Hazel Jeanette Ford Martin. Ms. Martin worked at the John Deere Plant and was a member of Broad River Baptist Church of Smyrna. Ms. Martin is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Martin and wife, Linda, of York and Randell Martin of Hickory Grove; two nieces, three nephews, and a number of great-nieces and nephews. She had many friends in Bessemer City and Gastonia that brought her much joy. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18th, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Broad River Baptist Church of Smyrna, 2315 Legion Road, Smyrna, SC 29743. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Tim Whitaker and Rev. Michael Haines officiating. Interment will follow at Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery (Smyrna). Randy Martin, Brandon Martin, Austin Devinney, Rylan Blackmon, Colton Devinney, and Caleb Martin will serve as pallbearers.
