Thomas Childers

Gaffney -- Thomas Eugene Childers, 65, of 723 Ross Hill Road, passed away Tuesday, April 7th, 2015, at Caromont Regional Hospital. Born in York, he was the husband of Kathy Childers and the son of the late Brice Childers and Zoe Roberts Childers. Mr.Childers was retired from sales and trucking and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Childers is survived by two sons, Brian Keith Childers and wife Tammy of Antioch and Jason Thomas Childers and wife Jennifer of Antioch; one brother, Kenneth Childers of Antioch; one sister, Barbara Childers of Antioch; and four grandchildren, Dylan Shane Childers, Allison Holcombe, Ray Shaw and Samuel Pierce. In addition to his father, Mr. Childers is preceded in death by one brother, Doug Childers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 11th, 2015, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary 400 West Cherokee Street Blacksburg, SC 29702. Memorial services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Vernon Craig officiating. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association.
