Kings Mountain -- Thomas Odell Jones, 72, of 539 Stony Point Road, passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2017, at Testa Family Hospice. Born in Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Coley and Eva Jones. Mr. Jones retired from textiles and was a member of Pentecostal Holiness. Mr. Jones is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Bolin of Smyrna and Wilma Smith of Kings Mountain. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Jones, Howard Jones, and Roy Jones, and one sister, Naomi Short. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 pm with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating.
