Wanda Sue Bowden Obituary
Forest City -- Wanda Sue Bowden, 50, of 961 Piney Ridge Road in Forest City, NC , passed away Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, SC, Mrs. Bowden was the daughter of Mary Madglene Owens Kisner of Forest City, NC, and the late William Osia Jolly, Jr. She worked as a nursing home caregiver and was a member of Garden Temple Church.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Bowden is survived by two daughters, Pamela Bowden of Indiana and Renee Bowden Richardson of Blacksburg, SC; one sister, Faith Cash of Forest City, NC; two brothers, Jimmy Cash of Forest City, NC, and Bobby Kisner of Rutherfordton, NC.; 5 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bowden was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Larry Bowden.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17 from 6:00-8:00 at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18 at 2:00 at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating.
