Hickory Grove-- Mr. Wayne Gaddis, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4 at his residence. He was the son of the late Carl Gaddis and the late Azelee Dockery Gaddis and widower of his loving wife, Mrs. Mattie Lea Gaddis. Mr. Gaddis was a member of Broad River Baptist Church of Smryna and previously worked as a machine operator. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Walter Gaddis, Frank Gaddis, Arden Gaddis, and Thelma Forrestor. He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Wyatt (Bobby Reed), one son, Sam Richardson; three sisters, Suzie Crumbley, Grace Helen Lee, Ruby Stiles; three brothers, Andrew Gaddis, Clinton Gaddis, and Ed Gaddis; four grandchildren, Brett Wyatt(Heather), Brittany Wingate(Marcus), Cheyenne Avant, and Dawton Reed: three great grandchildren; Victor Wayne Wingate, Kane Keller and Drake Keller. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday April 9, 2020 at Broad River Baptist Church of Smryna at 3pm. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until the hour of service.
