Blacksburg -- Rev. William Marshall Jackson, 67, of 200 West Carolina Street Apt E-8, passed away Saturday, December 24th, 2016, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney. Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Margaret Dover Jackson and the son of the late Noah Jackson and Ruby Fowler Jackson. Rev. Jackson worked in Construction and was a member of Proclaiming The Word of Grover, NC. Rev. Jackson is survived by three sons, Marshall Wayne Jackson and wife, Cheryl, and William David Jackson and wife, Krystal, both of Gaffney, and Timothy William Jackson and wife, Shannon, of Gastonia, NC; five daughters, Angela Jackson Greason and husband, Roger, of Kings Mountain, NC, Ruby Jackson Burns and husband, Derek, Margie Jackson Hullett and friend, Kevin Rhodes, Rebecca Jackson Wyatt Helton, and husband, Danny, and Wanda Wyatt Childers and husband, Warren, all of Gaffney; seven brothers, Billy Jackson, Mike Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, David Jackson, David Wyatt, and Gerald Hames, all of Gaffney, and Benny Jackson of Blacksburg; three sisters, Mattie Jackson Thompson, Margie Jackson Peeler, and Carol Jackson Ray, all of Gaffney; 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Talmadge Jackson, and two sisters, Gladys Jackson Crocker and Jean Jackson Jenkins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Burt Burns, Marshall Jackson, Shawn Coyle, Tyler Coyle, Blake Blackwell, and Derek Burns will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Rev.
