Luretha Faye Hilton, 87, of Summerville , South Carolina entered into eternal rest January 30, 2017. Memorial services for Mrs. Hilton will be held February 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Epiphany, 212 Central Ave., Summerville, SC. Mrs. Hilton was born April 8th, 1929 in Norman Oklahoma, a daughter of Hazel V. Miller-Blatt and George Jones. She worked in the medical field in many categories. She graduated from Riverside City College, Riverside CA, and in 1953 took state boards for Registered Nursing and became a licensed R.N. she then attended Redlands University, Redland, CA, where she earned her B.S. degree. She worked nights at St. Bernardine Hospital's Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Her work included many types of nursing with the last 10 years as a Hospital R.N. in Wilkesboro, NC. She had 3 sons, Cecil S. Wilson (deceased), John F. Hilton of Ladson and David G. Hilton of San Angelo, TX. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, David G. of San Angelo, TX, Shaun P, Joshua R, Heather L. and Jason N. of Ladson, SC, and a great-grandaughter, Lucy Jean. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of Epiphany, 212 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483.
