.Mrs. Ruby Wilcox Hunt, 92, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Victor and Cassie Johnson Wilcox. She was formerly employed at Greenville Hospital System and Greenville County School District. She was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, a member of the Willing Workers Club and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gus Hunt; a brother, Theodore Wilcox and two sisters, Violena Corley and Patricia Hallums. Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are four daughters, Ruby Ann Hunt of Greenville, SC, Georgia Wanita Hunt of Chesapeake, VA, Frances Cardelia Hunt of Greenville, SC, and Rev. Janet Hunt Jones of the home; one son, Percy Donnell (Lois) Hunt of Greenville, SC; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Rev. Willie Hunt of Charleston, SC; her goddaughters, Betty Ramsey, Patricia Mayes and Margaret Blankley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
