ALIYAH SHERRIL MORRIS KEY 2/20/2021 Fort Mill, SC: Ms. Aliyah Sherril Morris Key, age 24, passed away after a tragic accident on Saturday February 20, 2021. A Native of Charlotte she was the daughter of Donald Morris, Jr. of Fort Mill, SC and Angelia Sherril Adams of Tellico Plains, TN. Aliyah was a graduate of Harding University High School in Charlotte and was employed as a work from home Customer Service Representative with Advanced Call Center Technologies, based in Johnson City, TN. Aliyah loved and lived life to the fullest; she had a charismatic way of making her friends and family feel like they were the most “special” to her; and they were. She adored her children. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Elias Shan Carr of Charlotte; a daughter, Elani Isabella Carr of Charlotte; and their father, Adrian Shan Carr of Charlotte; brother, Donald D’Angelo Morris of Sweetwater, TN., step-brothers, Troy Sanders of Ft. Mill, SC and Trenton Sanders of Ft. Mill,SC; step-mother, Taka L. Morris of Ft. Mill, SC; step-father, Steven Adams of Tellico Plains, TN; maternal grandmother Martha L. Crawford of Tellico Plains, TN; paternal grandparents, Doris Smith of Salisbury, NC, and John M. and Alberta Wright of Florence, SC; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends. A memorial service to celebrate Aliyah’s life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Mahaffey Chapel of A Simple Service Funeral Home, 201 N. Catawba St. Lancaster, SC 29720 with Dr. Larry Linderman officiating. The family will receive friends for a brief gathering following the memorial celebration at the funeral home.
