Maxine Broach

Maxine Curry Sullivan Broach, 98, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. She was born February 7, 1921, in Lancaster, daughter of the late John L. Sullivan and Zepher Curry Sullivan. Ms. Broach loved going to church and loved her grandchildren very much. Ms. Broach is survived by her daughter, Sue Huffman; brother, Everett Sullivan; grandchildren, Todd Huffman, Stuart Broach, Brandon Broach, and Mark Ross; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Alicia, and Skylar Huffman, and Brandon, Landon, Ashlyn, Michael, and Camden Broach. In addition to her parents, Ms. Broach was preceded in death by her son, Mike Broach; her brother, Budge Sullivan; her grandson, Ricky Huffman; and her great-grandson, Chase Huffman. A funeral service for Ms. Broach will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 1 in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation officiated by the Rev. Sh’Kur Francis. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Westside Cemetery. A Simple Service Burial and Cremation is serving the Broach family.
