Rex Dupree Bailey, 73 of 128 Cothran Cir, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. A native of Rutherford, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Claude Bailey and the late Mary McCombs Bailey and the husband of Mary “Susie” Bailey. Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Harold Dean Bailey, Darrell Bailey, and Dupree Bailey; three daughters; Summer Bailey (Angel Gallegos ) , Karen Bailey, and Teressa Bailey; two stepsons; Rickie Netherton ( Pamela Netherton ) and JR Netherton (Kathy Netherton ) ; two sisters; Regina Blackwell and Debra Pruitt and nineteen grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers; Roger Bailey, Ray Bailey and two sisters DeeEtte Strickland and Diane Belcher and one grandson Ivan Lee Espinoza. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church-Fairview Church Rd-Spartanburg, SC at 11:00 am conducted by the Rev.
