Faryn Marie Scarborough, 23, died Monday, April 17, 2017, at her home in Florence. Born January 4, 1994, in Sumter, she was a daughter of Mark Andrew Scarborough (Trina) and Deborah Suzanne Brunson Hagen (Jim). Survivors include her parents, Mark Scarborough (Trina) and Deborah Hagen (Jim) all of Sumter; a daughter, Nataleigha A. Kadir; a sister, Lacey Maddison (Anthony) of Sumter; two brothers, Clayton A. Scarborough (Amber) and Zachary L. Scarborough both of Sumter; a step-sister, Carrie E. Cross of Sumter; step-brother, Kenny L. Cross of Lexington; a niece, Emma Grace Jeffers; a nephew, Anthony Drew Maddison, Jr.; paternal grandparents, James W. Scarborough, Sr. and Carra Ann Scarborough of Sumter; maternal grandmother, Wanda K. Brunson of Sumter; her fiancé, Mark Eric Baldwin of Florence; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Baptist Church with the Rev. James W. Scarborough, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Pinewood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Evan Johnson, Craig Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Mark Smith, Sr., David Brunson, and Kenny Lee Cross. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her father, 510 Bagnal Dr. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
