Lisa Lynn McReynolds-Waananen, passed away in peace Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the age of 57. She was born in Sumter, South Carolina on May 1, 1962, daughter of the late William Paul Foster and the late Joyce Audreale Foster. She is survived by her husband, Steve Waananen; her brothers, John Loman McReynolds and William Paul Foster II (Tanya); her sisters, Julie Ioder and Mary J. Phillips; her nieces, Brittany McReynolds, Maggie McReynolds, Mackenzie Ioder, Melinda Levy, and Rebecca Teets; and her nephew, Frank Mitchell. Lisa graduated from Central Carolina with a degree in accounting. She retired from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and was employed by Robeson Community College in Lumberton, NC. Lisa loved to fish, do crafts, plan events, bungie jump, hang glide, ski, mountain bike, and she even took off one year from work to hike the Appalachian Trail. Those who knew her know she had a wonderful sense of humor. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 P.M. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
