Brenda Ann Bullman was born on May 26, 1946 to Felix James Wounded Head and Vivian Mabel (Amiotte) Wounded Head in Alliance, NE. Brenda made her journey to the Spirit World on January 7, 2021 in Salt Lake City, UT where she has lived for the last 43 years. Brenda was a kidney cancer survivor, she worked at Marriott Hotel for 30 plus years in housekeeping. Brenda was also a quilt maker and a member of the Native American Church and the Latter Day Saints. Brenda is survived by her sister, Donna (Wounded Head) Long Soldier of Rapid City, SD; brother, Paul Wounded Head of Rapid City, SD; daughter, Pamela (Long Soldier) Osborn; granddaughters, Mackenzie Mae & Sydney Beth Word of Kadoka, SD, Kenda Workman of Stillwater, OK; great grandsons, Hussain & Mahammed Alfatlawi all of Salt Lake City, UT; niece, Candace Wagner of Oglala, SD, Arnell (Long Soldier) Brown Bull of Potato Creek, SD; nephew, Myron Wagner of Oglala, SD, Ardon Long Soldier of Sioux Falls, SD, and Anthony Long Soldier of Salt Lake City, UT; and hunka son, Jacob Shields. Brenda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Pete Wounded Head & Eva (Whalen) Wounded Head; maternal grandparents, Emery Amiotte & Rose (Four Horn) Amiotte; parents, Felix James Wounded Head & Vivian (Amiotte) Wounded Head; sister, Cheryl (Wounded Head) Wagner; brothers, Leslie, Allen, Darryl, & Garrett Wounded Head; spouse, Melvin Bullman; son, Burton Bullman; daughter, Crystal (Yankton) Linderer; nieces, Carmella, Robin, & Darla Wounded Head; nephews, Leslie Skidmore & Darren Long Soldier; granddaughters, Sierra Marie Wounded Head & Darla Wounded Head; grandsons, Jakobi Tehee, Cody Lee, and Devron Wounded Head-Horse; and longtime special friend, Clifton Gunter. Pallbearers will be Myron Wagner, Paul Wounded Head, Brent Plenty Bulls, and Nathan Brave Heart.
