Brian Kemp Two Lance, Sr. was born on February 23, 1970 in Rushville, NE to Mabel Two Lance. Brian made his journey to the Spirit World on January 14, 2020 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD. He was 49 years old. Brian graduated from Little Wound High School in 1988. He went to SIPI in Albuquerque, NM. He was a traditional dancer, sundancer and his grandson’s hero. Brian is survived by his children, Julia Two Lance, Conrad Two Lance, Brian Two Lance, Jr., Moses Two Lance and Cecelia Two Lance; grandson, Jaden Maes; siblings, Courtney Two Lance, Melanie Grinnell, Sonya Plenty Wounds, Janel Barajas, Marissa Two Lance, Irma Last Horse, David and Jared Charging Thunder, Orin Grinnell and Cody “Smoke” Two Lance; aunts, Eva Last Horse and Ethel Victor; and uncle, Lloyd Charging Thunder. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel M. Two Lance; and grandparents, David F. Two Lance and Cecelia Charging Thunder-Two Lance. Pallbearers will be Galen Kelly, Brian Thunder Hawk, Roger Yellow Boy, Robert Pille, Harlow Plenty Wounds, David Charging Thunder, Wilson Shane Quintana and Waylon Gaddie. Honorary Pallbearers will be Classmates of Little Wound High School 1988, Sacred Hoop 500 Mile Runners, All Sundancers, Powwow Friends and All Friends & Relatives. Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 4:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Bill C. Bear Memorial Gym in Batesland, SD with evening prayer services starting at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Bill C. Bear Memorial Gym in Batesland, SD Officiating: Fr.
