Cornell Ruff, Sr. was born on June 4, 1962 in Pine Ridge, SD to Seth Ruff and Alice (Red Shirt) Ruff. Cornell, Sr. made his journey to the Spirit World on January 16, 2020 at his home in Allen, SD. Cornell, Sr. is survived by his sons, Warlance (Trina) Ruff, Cornell (Cherish) Ruff, both of Allen, SD and Marcus Ruff of Lawrence KS; daughters, Collette Ruff, Felicia (Jay) Ruff, and Rosie (Ryan) Ruff, all of Martin SD; brother, Seth (Donna) Ruff, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Sharlene May and Annabelle Black Bear, both of Martin, SD and Violet (Tim) Easter of Spokane, WA; grandkids, Shakoya, Tyler, Chance, TT, JoJo, Seth, Jaida, John John, Ailema, Yamni, Elora, Arayah, Matthew, Tatum, Ash-man, Cassidy, Orana, Micah, Gage, Alyssa, & Amara; great grandson, Gabe; and friend, Betty Peters.
